Notice

ALERTS:
  • In response to recent cyberattacks directed at public and private sector computer systems, including attacks directed at the judiciary and the CM/ECF system, on September 16, 2025, the Court entered Standing Order (3:25-mc-694-TMC) regarding the procedures for filing sealed documents in civil and criminal cases.

Effective immediately, sealed documents may no longer be filed electronically on CM/ECF in civil and criminal cases. Instead, parties wishing to file any material under seal in civil and criminal cases must file the documents by paper in person or by U.S. Mail. Procedures for doing so are detailed in Standing Order (3:25-mc-694-TMC).

We anticipate that an alternate solution for securely submitting these materials will be available in the near future. In the meantime, all parties are required to follow the procedures outlined in the standing order until a permanent solution from the Administrative Office of the United States Courts is in place.

We recognize that this new process may cause inconvenience, but these changes are necessary to protect the security of sealed documents that are entrusted to us. The Court appreciates your flexibility and patience. Please contact the Clerk's Office if you need assistance.
