Court Transcripts

All court proceedings are recorded by a court reporter or by electronic means.

To order an electronic copy of a tape, CD or a paper transcript of a recorded proceeding, contact the appropriate electronic recording operator listed below. The cost is $26.00 for an electronic copy of a CD or tape. For paper transcripts, the operator provides the estimated number of pages and the transcriber’s name for payment. Advance payment to the transcriptionist must be made before the order is officially placed.

All other orders for transcripts should be directed to the court reporter who produced the record. Financial arrangements for payment at the rates listed in the court’s fee schedule, set by the Judicial Conference, will be made when transcripts are ordered.

Ordering parties proceeding under the Criminal Justice Act (CJA) must complete a separate CJA24 voucher (instructions) for each court reporter and send directly to the clerk’s office for processing.
