Emergency filings after business hours: If a filing cannot be made during normal business hours but the document must be filed that day, please call (during normal business hours) the clerk's office in the division where the filing is to be made to make the necessary arrangements.

During periods of extremely bad weather, announcements are made on radio and television alerting the public about delays or closings of government buildings. Even when such announcements address the status of federal buildings and agencies, these announcements do not always correctly describe the status of our court. Generally, the court acts independently and may or may not follow the lead of federal agencies in the community or even in the same building.
