Since all jurors are selected randomly by computer, a person may be summoned to a courthouse which is not the closest Federal Courthouse to their home. Residing in one of the following counties makes you eligible to serve in Charleston.

Beaufort Colleton Jasper
Berkeley Dorchester
Charleston Georgetown
Clarendon Hampton

If you have moved and no longer reside in one of the above counties, please send a letter to Clerk of Court, 901 Richland Street, Columbia, SC 29201 and you will be excused.
